Excitement is growing at Lira Town College as the International School Sport Federation (ISF) announced that the ISF Football World Cup 2026 will be hosted in Suzhou, China, from 17th to 26th October 2026. ISF Football is a prestigious global school competition that brings together talented student-athletes from across the world to showcase skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Suzhou city in China, is often described as “an earthly paradise,” due to its rich cultural heritage and modern innovation. Many believe it is a perfect choice for an international youth event. The competition will feature both boys’ and girls’ teams (U18) from schools offering general or vocational education, with opportunities for learning beyond the pitch through ISF Academy workshops on leadership, fair play, and safeguarding in sport.
