Class of 2016 Alumni unite to Give Back to the College

As 2026 approaches, the Lira Town College (LTC) Class of 2016 is gearing up to mark ten years since sitting their UACE exams—and they’re doing it in style. Under the playful yet meaningful slogan, Aged to Perfection since 2016,” the alumni are coming together to give back to their alma mater and community in ways that matter.

After years of personal academic growth, career milestones, and life experiences, the Class of 2016 has formed a strong Alumni network. Led by Opio Haron Justine (President), and Aciro Sharon (Vice President), their goal is simple but powerful: to unite ideas, pool resources, and make a lasting impact through charity, education support, and community projects. It’s a move fueled by gratitude, responsibility, and the desire to uplift others—a true reflection of the values LTC instilled in them during their school days.

In 2016, Lira Town College registered 226 learners for UACE. Out of these, 176 were male, and while 50 were female. That year, seven students didn’t not sit for final UACE exams.
