Welcome to the Lira Town College website. Lira Town College is among the oldest government secondary schools in northern Uganda and it is located in Lira city. Established in 1967 by Asian parents, the school has a high student enrolment of over 2,000 and about 100 teachers. Located along Inomo road, opposite Stanbic bank, its central location within Lira city centre makes it a favourite for both urban and rural students.
Lira Town College operates as both day and boarding school, and it also has both Ordinary Level (UCE) and Advanced Level (UACE) of education curriculum of Uganda.
Lira Town College performs well both in academics, and non-curricula activities. It has many student clubs and societies, games and sports disciplines to cater for the different interests of students.
In terms of school fees, Lira Town College charges competitive rates, making it popular for both rural and urban students and parents.
